Mini Game: AR Shell

The AR Shell challenge (also called Shell Game) uses augmented reality to display three 3D cups through the device camera. A ball is shown under one cup, the cups shuffle, and the player must track and select the correct cup. Shuffle speed and number of rounds control difficulty.

The game always uses 3 cups. Shuffle speed and round count are controlled by the game engine configuration.

  • This type has direct points — scoring is automatic based on correct guesses.
  • The game always presents 3 cups with 1 ball.
  • Faster shuffle speed increases difficulty.
  • Works best at locations with a clear, flat surface where AR objects render convincingly.
