Prizes

The Prizes challenge type creates a slot-machine spin experience where teams win virtual prizes. The organizer configures prize items and their probabilities. When a team reaches the challenge location and activates it, they spin a virtual reel and receive whatever prize it lands on. Prizes can award points, objects, or gadgets.

  1. The team reaches the challenge location and activates it.
  2. A slot-machine interface appears on screen.
  3. The team taps to spin.
  4. The reels stop on a prize — the result appears with an animation.
  5. The prize is awarded: points are added to the team’s score, or an item/gadget is placed in their inventory.

In addition to the common challenge fields, the Prizes type adds:

Points are configured per prize item. Each prize can award a different number of points, creating high-value rare prizes and common low-value ones.

  • At least one prize must be configured for the challenge to work.
  • Probability is relative. If Prize A has weight 10 and Prize B has weight 5, Prize A is twice as likely to appear.
  • The spin result is determined server-side to prevent manipulation.
  • Each team spins once per challenge activation.
