Reset Password
What it does
Section titled “What it does”If you have forgotten your password, use the Reset Password flow to regain access to your account. Request a reset link by email, and the system generates a new temporary password.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- No authentication required — this flow is fully public
- A valid username or email address associated with an existing account

Fields / Options

Step 2 — New password (via email link)
Section titled “Step 2 — New password (via email link)”No form fields — click the link received by email. The new password is displayed on screen.

Behavior and rules
Section titled “Behavior and rules”Request flow
Section titled “Request flow”- Enter your username or email address.
- If the input contains ”@”, the system treats it as an email and looks up the associated username.
- If a matching user is found, a password reset email is sent.
- A confirmation page confirms that the email was sent.
- If no user matches, the error “No existe ningún usuario con ese nombre o dirección email” (“No user found with that name or email address”) is shown.
Reset link
Section titled “Reset link”The email contains a link with a secure token that validates your identity.
When you click the link:
- The system validates the hash against the stored user data.
- If valid, the system generates a new temporary password.
- The new password is displayed on the success page along with the username.
Security considerations
Section titled “Security considerations”- No authentication required. The reset flow is fully public — accessible without logging in.
- Token validation. The reset link contains a security token that prevents unauthorized resets, but the token is not time-limited.
