Guess the Word
A word-guessing challenge. You see blank spaces representing a hidden word, an image clue, and a phrase or question. Guess the word by selecting letters.
Easy mode
Section titled “Easy mode”- A full alphabet appears on screen
- Tap letters to guess
- Correct letters reveal in all positions where they appear in the word
- Keep guessing until you complete the word or time runs out
Hard mode
Section titled “Hard mode”- A keyboard with letters, numbers, and special characters
- Timed hints: After a set time, a hint appears — but it costs you points
- Up to 2 timed hints, each subtracting points from your potential score
- You get unlimited attempts to enter the full word until the timer expires
The organizer chooses easy or hard mode for each challenge. Hard mode adds pressure with the point-subtracting hints.
Hangman variant
Section titled “Hangman variant”Some Guess the Word challenges use a hangman visual instead. Wrong guesses draw parts of the hangman figure. If the figure is complete before you guess the word, you lose.
The mechanics are the same — guess letters to reveal the word — but with the added tension of seeing the figure build up.
Scoring
Section titled “Scoring”Auto-scored. Guess the word correctly before time runs out to earn points. In hard mode, your final score depends on how quickly you solved it (before hints consumed your points).
