Geolocated Video
A video plays through your camera, anchored to a specific GPS location. When you arrive at the right spot, open the camera and the video appears floating in the real world.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Walk to the challenge location
- The AR camera activates
- A video appears in 3D space, positioned in the direction of the challenge coordinates
- Watch the video — it may contain clues, story content, or instructions
The video uses your phone’s compass and GPS to position itself in the right direction.
Device requirements
Section titled “Device requirements”Requires an AR-capable device (ARCore on Android, ARKit on iOS).
Scoring
Section titled “Scoring”Auto-scored. Points are awarded on completion (watching the video).
